This position is responsible for providing communications support and services through a central communications operation in the Department of Public Safety.  It handles the reception of requests for emergency assistance, transmits and receives related communications information to emergency response agencies and is responsible for the operation of common communications equipment, authorized techniques, and procedures.

The starting salary for this position is $17.92 per hour, with a 5% increase upon completion of Call Taker Training Phase and an additional 5% increase upon completion of Dispatcher Training Phase.
